The Court: The propounder examines one witness in support of the grant of probate.

The witness identifies herself as the daughter of the testatrix. She identifies the signature of the testatrix and that of the attesting witnesses. She states that the Will being Exhibit 'A' written in vernacular Bengali is in the handwriting of the testatrix. The testatrix set and subscribed her signature on the Will. The two attesting witnesses are no longer alive. The attesting witnesses set and subscribed their respective signatures on the Will after the testatrix. She identifies the signatures of the attesting witnesses also.

In such circumstances, the Will of the testatrix being proved in solemn form there will be an order in terms of prayer (a) of the petition. PLA/29/2020 is disposed of accordingly.
