The Court:- This is an application for extending the mandate of the Arbitrator. It is submitted by the parties that the mandate of the Arbitrator had expired on 28 January, 2024 and this application was filed prior thereto. Both the parties are present and do not object to the prayer for extension of time for the Arbitrator to conclude the arbitral proceeding. I have considered the averments made in the application and I am satisfied that the Learned Arbitrator was unable to conclude the proceeding for sufficient cause. In such circumstances, by consent of the parties the time to conclude the arbitral proceeding stands extended till 31 December, 2024. With the aforesaid directions, AP-COM/55/2024 stands disposed of. Since the respondent has not filed any affidavit the allegations contained in the application are not admitted.
