The Court : It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that most of the members of the petitioner, being a registered trade union by the name 'The Calcutta Tram Mazdoor Sabha' have been paid the money in terms of the direction given in the order under contempt. Some of the members, according to the petitioner, are yet to be paid because their bank details could not be furnished to the West Bengal Transport Corporation Limited (in short WBTC). The reason cited for being unable to provide such bank details is that those members are retired members and as such cannot be contacted. The WBTC has all along submitted that the

money will be disbursed once the account details are provided. Thus, WBTC cannot be held to have not complied with the order under contempt. In the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the contempt application is disposed of without any further order and the contempt proceeding is also dropped.
