The writ petition has been filed with the complaint that an application filed by the petitioner/ financial institution under Section 14 of the SARFAESI Act, 2002 has been kept pending for a considerably long time. In view of the same having been kept pending beyond the statutory outer limit and there being no impediment otherwise to dispose of the same, as submitted on behalf of the petitioner, WPO/52/2024 is disposed of by directing

the respondent no. 2, that is, the District Magistrate, Birbhum to dispose of the pending application under Section 14 of the writ petitioner as expeditiously as possible, positively within four weeks from date. No order as to costs.
