...For the State The Court: None appears on behalf of the petitioners at the time of call. A report has been filed by the engineers of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation wherein it has been mentioned that a joint inspection was conducted after informing all the parties.

During inspection, measurement of the subject premises was done and sketch plan prepared in presence of all. A portion which is required for construction of the Metro Rail Project has already been vacated and demolished by the person responsible.

Learned advocate for the Corporation submits that the premises of the petitioners are outside the ambit of demolition. In view of the above, no further order is required to be passed in the instant writ petition. The same stands disposed of.
