The Court: This is an application for extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitrator.

Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner undisputed that the parties took advantage of the orders passed by the Supreme Court extending the period of limitation in the awake of the pandemic and that the pleadings were completed on 27th July, 2022. Before the one year had expired on 26th July, 2023, the parties extended the mandate by 6 months to 25th June, 2024. The present application was filed on 24th June, 2024.

Considering this the first application for extension the evidence already started accordingly AP/23/2024 is allowed and disposed of by

extending the mandate of the learned Arbitrator for a period of 6 months from 25th January, 2024.
