The Court: The only relief sought for by the petitioners is for a direction on the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioners on 18.07.2022 against a termination notice of 27.06.2022. The representation was made to four persons of Shyamaprasad Mookerjee Port. After hearing learned counsel and considering the import of Clause 10.2 of the General Conditions of Contract as published in May, 1993, WPO/124/2023 is disposed of with a direction on the Chief Engineer, being the respondent no.3, to consider and dispose of the representation within a period of three weeks from date. The respondent no.3 shall hear the petitioners and pass a reasoned order which should also be made available to the petitioners within four weeks from date.
