The Court: The matter was listed on 9th January, 2023 but none appeared on behalf of the petitioner and for the interest of justice, the case was adjourned till 16th January, 2023 with the rider that in case none appears on behalf of the petitioner on the date fixed, appropriate orders will be passed. When the matter is listed today and is called on, none appears on behalf of the petitioner and no accommodation is sought for. It reveals from the record that the instant application is filed in the year 2017 but thereafter no steps have been taken by the petitioner. It is found that the petitioner is not interested to proceed with the matter and thus, this Court has no other option but to dismiss PLA/19/2017. In view of the above, PLA/19/2017 is dismissed for default. Interim order, if any, shall stand vacated.

In view of the dismissal of PLA/19/2017, all connected applications are also dismissed.
