..for respondent nos.9 & 10 The Court: The report of Kolkata Municipal Corporation clearly indicates that some unauthorised construction has been detected and a notice under Section 401 of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation Act, 1980, has already been issued with intimation to the police authorities.

As per the order of the Executive Engineer, a demolition proceeding under Section 400(1) of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation Act, 1980 has already been initiated.

Nothing further remains to be decided in the writ petition. The writ petition is disposed of as the Kolkata Municipal Corporation has already decided to address the issues and take steps as per the complaint made by the petitioner. The Kolkata Municipal Corporation will act in accordance with law and if necessary, police help may be rendered by the concerned police authorities to the Corporation as and when required by the Corporation for implementation of its own decision.
