The Court : This is an application under Sections 14 and 15 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

It is submitted by the parties that the Arbitrator is unwell and has been unable to hold any sitting since August 2019. In view of the aforesaid, by consent of the parties, the mandate of the Arbitrator appointed in terms of the order dated 1 August, 2019 stands terminated. Mr. Ajoy Krishna Chatterjee, Senior Advocate is appointed as a substitute Arbitrator in place and stead of the earlier Arbitrator appointed in terms of the order dated 25 February, 2019. The Arbitrator is requested to conduct the proceeding from the stage where the erstwhile Arbitrator had left the proceedings. With the aforesaid directions, AP 144 of 2021 stands disposed of. It is clarified that the Arbitrator is appointed on the same terms and conditions contained in the order dated 25 February, 2019. (RAVI KRISHAN KAPUR, J.) SK.
