1. From the writ petition it appears that petitioner resides under the jurisdiction of Parnasree Police Station, Kolkata which is outside the Original Side jurisdiction of this Court. Moreover, from the case made out in the writ petition it appears that steps are required to be taken by the concerned police authority of Parnasree Police Station. In addition thereto, in terms of the order passed by a Coordinate Bench on 18th October, 2023 on a writ petition being WPO 1630 of 2023, the Officer in Charge of Parnasree Police Station, being respondent no.4 was directed to take steps in accordance with law in the event of untoward incident occurs or is

apprehended by the petitioner.

2. Since Parnasree Police Station situates outside the Original Side jurisdiction of this Court, concerned department is directed to convert this writ petition in the Original Side as writ petition in the Appellate Side by 22nd May, 2026. Learned Advocate representing the petitioner is directed to cooperate with the department in completing such exercise of converting the present writ petition into a writ petition in the Appellate Side.

3. After allotting number to this writ petition being a writ petition in the Appellate Side by the department learned Advocate representing the petitioner shall be at liberty to mention this matter before this Court.

4. Learned Advocate for the petitioner is also directed to serve copy of the writ petition upon the learned Advocate representing respondent nos.6 and 7 by seven days from date. (SAUGATA BHATTACHARYYA, J.) pa
