The Court:- The petitioner in the present writ petition has, inter alia, prayed for setting aside/quashing the order of conversion dated 17.10.2019 passed by the Collector under Section 4C of the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1995.

It has been submitted by the learned advocates appearing on behalf of the respondents that the said order is an appealable one under the specified Act.

The West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955 being a specified Act any action taken under the said Act is to be assailed before the appropriate forum.

In view of the above, it will be open for the petitioner to challenge the order of conversion before the competent forum. The present writ petition stands disposed of.
