The Court: The prayers in the present writ petition relate to a work order dated 1st June, 2020. Affidavits are complete and orders passed by co-ordinate Benches note that the matter is now ready for hearing. The petitioner is, however, aggrieved by a recent communication of 30th June, 2022 from the West Bengal Police Housing and Infrastructure Development Corporation in relation to a fresh tender.

Since the letter now placed before the Court gives rise to a fresh cause of action, nothing further remains of the existing writ petition. WPO/594/2022 is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn. Interim orders, if any, shall stand vacated and all connected applications are disposed of. The petitioner shall have liberty to file a writ petition on the fresh cause of action.
