..for the decree-holder The Court : EC No. 113 of 2020 is an application for execution of an award dated 2 February, 2011. It is submitted by the judgment-debtor that pursuant to an order dated 11 March, 2020 a Co-ordinate Bench on 11 March, 2021 in an application under Section 36 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has passed an order, inter alia, partially securing the claim of the decree-holder and granting a stay of the award dated 2 February 2011.

In view of the aforesaid, I am of the view that no purpose would be served in keeping this execution application pending. EC No. 113 of 2020 is disposed of with liberty to the decree-holder to file a fresh execution application in accordance with law at the appropriate stage, if necessary.
