The Court: The report filed by learned Counsel for the CESC Limited today be kept on record.

It transpires from the report and from the submission of learned Counsel for the CESC Limited that it has been found technically feasible, upon a second inspection, that a loop meter connection can be given to the petitioner in terms of the petitioner's application at the premises in question, without interfering with any third party possession. In view of such opinion of the CESC Limited, there is no further impediment to give electricity connection to the petitioner. Accordingly, WPO/164/2021 is disposed of by directing the CESC Limited to give electricity connection to the petitioner at his premises at the existing meter board position as expeditiously as possible, positively within

a fortnight from date and/or the compliance by the petitioner, whichever is later.

No order as to costs.
