The instant writ petition was filed inter alia praying for a direction upon the respondent no.3 to expeditiously dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner under section 246A of the Income Tax Act, 1961 (hereinafter referred to as "the said Act") from an order passed under section 143(1) of the said Act dated 29th March 2015.

2. Mr. Sharma, learned advocate representing the respondents has, however, placed before this Court the order under section 250 of the said Act dated 11th April 2025 in respect of the assessment year 2012-13 and would submit that the appeal filed by the petitioner has already been disposed of.

3. Let a copy of the aforesaid order passed by the Appellate Authority under section 250 of the said Act be taken on record.

4. Having regard to the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of as having become infructuous.
