The Court: The matter has appeared at the instance of the Department. It appears that pursuant to an order dated 16 February, 2018 passed by a Co-ordinate Bench, a sum of Rs.53,94,796/- has been kept with the Registrar, Original Side and the same is lying idle and not earning any interest. Significantly, neither of the parties nor their respective Advocates had brought this fact to the attention of this Court. In such circumstances, the Registrar, Original Side is directed to invest the amount of Rs.53,94,796/- in any fixed deposit with any nationalized bank and keep the same renewed until further orders of Court. Let this matter go out of the list.
