The Court : The learned counsels of both the parties submit that they have reached an amicable settlement contained in the Terms of Settlement as filed before this Court today in CS No.86 of 1996. The parties have reached an agreement in terms of which possession shall be handed over. It was also one of the terms of the settlement that CS No.86 of 1996 and EOS No.4 of 1997 shall not be proceeded with and shall stand as dismissed.

Let the suit be decreed on compromise. The Terms of Settlement shall be part of the decree. Accordingly, CS No.86 of 1996 and EOS No.4 of 1997 stand disposed of in terms of Terms of Settlement dated 18th August, 2023 filed today in Court.

Department is directed to draw up the decree accordingly.
