The Court:- Learned advocate representing the Kolkata Municipal Corporation has obtained instruction from the engineers of the Borough and submits that there is no separation of the premises no. B/18/H/3 and B/18/H/3/1, Mahendra Sirkar Street, Kolkata. Both are one and the same premises.

The Corporation has detected that the entire premises no. B/18/H/3 which includes and is a part and parcel of the premises no. B/18/H/3/1 is an unauthorized one and steps have been taken to deal with the unauthorized construction in accordance with law. In view of the aforesaid submissions, the writ petition stands disposed of in terms of the order dated 21st March, 2024.
