The Court :- The personal presence of the Registrar (DRT) III was recorded and dispensed with on 18th February, 2022. The matter could not be taken up on the same date for paucity of time. It appears that by an earlier order dated 7th October, 2021, this Court had directed the Registrar (DRT) III, Kolkata to dispose of SA No. 190 of 2014 mandatorily and positively by 30th November, 2021. The same has not been done.

It is now submitted by Counsel for the (DRT) III, Kolkata, Mr. Bhattacharyya that the matter has already been listed and hearing is underway. It is ordered that the said SA should be disposed of by 5th March, 2022 without demur and/or default.

This Court notes with anguish and annoyance the casual manner in which Debts Recovery Tribunal has dealt with orders of the High Court. It is expected that such conduct will not be repeated in future. (RAJASEKHAR MANTHA, J.) mg/S. Chandra
