The Court:- It is rightly pointed out by learned senior Counsel appearing for the respondent authorities that the matter does not pertain to the Original Side of this Court, in view of the addresses of the parties as specified in the cause title of the writ petition itself falling outside the territorial jurisdiction of the Original Side. Accordingly, WPO No.180 of 2021 be treated to be converted to an appellate side matter.

The department is directed to carry out necessary consequential amendments and send it to the appropriate Appellate Side Bench section for renumbering of the writ

petition for classification as an Appellate Side matter. The office shall communicate the new number to the learned Advocates-on-record for both the parties. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to mention the matter when the Appellate Side matters are taken up.
