...appears The Court: In this application under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 the petitioner seeks extension of time for the learned Arbitrator to conclude the arbitration proceedings.

The respondent is represented.

Learned advocate appearing for the respondent does not oppose the prayer for extension of time.

It appears from the minutes of the meeting dated March 9, 2018 of the learned Arbitrator that, the hearing in the arbitration proceeding was concluded. The award is yet to be passed.

In such circumstances, the time to conclude the arbitration and to make and publish the award is extended for a period of three months from date. AP 181 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly.
