The Court: This is an application for execution of an award dated 30th July, 2014. By the said award the judgment-debtors have been directed to pay a sum of Rs.16,39,524/-. The matter has been pending since 2015. Diverse orders have been passed in the meantime.

The warrants of arrest have also been kept extended. However, the police has been unable to ascertain the whereabouts of the judgment-debtors.

In such circumstances, no purpose would be served in keeping this proceeding pending any further.

EC/155/2015 stands dismissed by granting liberty to the award-holder to file a fresh execution application after ascertaining the necessary whereabouts of the judgment-debtors.

Liberty is also given to the award-holder to take back a certified copy of the award after replacing the same with a photocopy thereof. (RAVI KRISHAN KAPUR, J.) S.Bag
