...for the petitioner The Court:- This is a post award application under Section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The petitioner prays for attachment of the immovable property namely 'Mahishadal House', 78, Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Road, P.S. Taltala, Kolkata - 700013. It appears that in the meantime, the petitioner has already prayed for execution of the award. In terms of Section 9 of the Act, post award protections are available to the award-holder if the time for execution of the award had not set in and there is urgent need for protection of the property. The petitioner has already proceeded for execution of the award, which was passed on 15th January 2025. Under such circumstances, this application is disposed of.
