The petitioner has filed the present application for grant of Letters of Administration to the estate of the deceased Anuradha Dey alias Anuradha Dey Colicchia.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the testator died on 23rd October, 2021 leaving behind her husband and one daughter as her legal heirs. The petitioner being the daughter of deceased has filed the present application for grant of Letters of Administration and the husband of the deceased namely, Antonio Colicchia has given his affidavit of consent stating that he has no objection for grant of Letters of Administration to the petitioner.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. Perused the application, death certificate of the deceased and affidavit of consent of the husband of the deceased.

This Court finds that the deceased died on 23rd October, 2021 leaving behind her husband and the daughter and the daughter has filed the present application for grant of Letters of Administration and the husband has given no objection for grant of Letters of Administration to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this Court finds that the petitioner is entitled to get the Letters of Administration to the estate of the deceased. Accordingly, the Department is directed to issue the Letters of Administration to the petitioner to the estate of the deceased furnishing bond of Rs.17,00,000/- with two sureties of the like amount on compliance of all formalities.

Accordingly, PLA/80/2024 is disposed of.
