The Court: Learned counsel for the State files a report. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that in the meantime the information in question has been handed over to the petitioner directly; as such, the cause of action of the writ petition has been rendered infructuous. Accordingly, WPO 194 of 2024 is disposed of as infructuous, keeping on record the report filed today. In terms of the above order, the second appeal pending before the second appellate authority at the behest of the petitioner on the self-same cause of action be treated to be disposed of as well.
