..for Respondents The Court : An application with the prayer for releasing the arrear pay was made by the Assistant Teacher of Gobindapur Tarachand Vidyaniketan High School on 12th September, 2019, but the same was not considered by the District Inspector of Schools (SE), South 24 Parganas till date.

Heard Mr. Bhattacharya, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Bandopadhyay, learned counsel for the State.

The District Inspector of Schools (SE), South 24 Parganas is requested to consider the application dated 12th September, 2019 regarding the prayer for releasing

arrear pay at an earliest preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order to him by the petitioner. The District Inspector of Schools (SE), South 24 Parganas will also provide an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner so that all the relevant documents can be produced before him, if necessary. Any decision arrived at within six weeks shall be communicated to the petitioner as early as possible.

Accordingly, both WPO 238 of 2020 and the connected application being [IA No.GA/1/2020(Old No:GA/1073/2020)] are disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent certified photocopies of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all formalities. ( Rajarshi Bharadwaj, J.) sm
