The Court: This is an application under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

It is submitted by both the parties that the arbitration is at an advance stage and severe prejudice would be caused if the mandate of the arbitration is not extended.

I am satisfied that there are sufficient and good reasons as to why the Arbitrator was unable to conclude the arbitral proceeding within the stipulated time period.

By consent of the parties, the time to make the award in respect of the disputes under the agreement dated 26th April, 2017 stands extended by a period of six months from the date of this order. With the aforesaid direction, AP/57/2024 stands disposed of. (RAVI KRISHAN KAPUR, J.) S.Bag
