The writ petition relates to a tender floated by Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata vide N.I.T. No. Tfc/G-6258/Tender/2024/01 dated 12th August, 2024.

Learned Senior Counsel representing the Port submits, upon instruction that, there was only one bidder and as the said bidder did not provide the required bid security, the bid was considered non responsive and rejected by the competent authority.

As it appears that the tender stands discharged, accordingly, the cause of action for filing the writ petition does not subsist at present. There is no requirement of keeping the writ petition pending any further. 4.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Instruction forwarded by the Traffic Manager, Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata dated 28th March, 2025 be retained with the records. 6.
