The petitioner has filed the present application in the cause paper of PLA/100/2024.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that by an order dated 4th September, 2024, this Court has granted probate and when the department has processed for issuance of probate, the department has pointed out that in the probate application as well as in the other cause papers, the name of the post office in the address of the testator is wrongly recorded as 'Lala Rajput Rai Sarani' instead of 'Lala Lajpat Rai Sarani'. Accordingly, the petitioner intends to correct the same by way of amendment.

Considered the submission made by the Counsel for the petitioner.

This Court finds that the amendment as sought for by the petitioner is formal in nature and will not change the nature and character of the probate application.

Accordingly, prayers (a) to (c) of the Master's Summons are allowed.

GA/1/2025 is disposed of.
