The Court : The petitioners complain of police inaction. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the complaint of the petitioners was enquired into and prosecution under Section 107 of the Criminal Procedure Code submitted.

Under such circumstances, since the police have taken steps, no further interference is called for. No doubt the police authorities will ensure that no breach of peace takes place at the locale.

Since affidavits are not called for, all allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to be denied.

WPO No.260 of 2020 is disposed of.
