...for the petitioner The Court : An order passed by the Reserve Bank of India under Section 45 IA of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 is under challenge in the present writ petition.

The impugned order is appealable under Section 45 IA(7) of the Act of 1934.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to avail of the statutory alternative remedy under Section 45 IA of the Act of 1934. He submits that in view of the pandemic, the appellate authority be requested to treat the appeal to be filed by the petitioner as one within time prescribed. The prayer made on behalf of the petitioner being reasonable is accepted. In the event, the petitioner prefers an appeal under Section 45 IA(7) of the Act of 1934 within a period of fortnight from date, the

Appellate Authority is requested to treat the appeal to be within the period of limitation as prescribed under the Act of 1934 and consider and decide the appeal in accordance with law.

WPO 261 of 2020 is disposed of accordingly.
