This is an application where the petitioner complains of police inaction. It is fairly submitted on behalf of the petitioner that pursuant to the filing of this writ petition, the appropriate police authorities have initiated an inspection and steps have been taken by them. Mr. Debjit Mukheerjee, learned advocate appears on behalf of the State of West Bengal and submits that the police has initiated an investigation in

respect of the complaint of the petitioner. Mr. Ankit Agarwal, Advocate appears on behalf of respondent no.6.

In view of the steps which have been taken by the police authorities nothing survives in the writ petition. The police authorities are directed to take the proceedings initiated by them to their logical conclusions in accordance with law.

WPO No. 263 of 2020 is disposed of.

However, there will be no order as to costs.
