... for the Respondents The Court : The writ petitioner claims the employer's contribution to provident fund. The facts of the case indicate that the petitioner has been dismissed from service for acts of misconduct. There is a writ petition pending before this Court challenging an order passed by the appellate authority upon remand from this Court. The appellate authority had confirmed earlier order of dismissal passed against the petitioner.

In that view of the matter, no orders can be made in favour of the petitioner in the instant writ application since the order of dismissal from service of the petitioner has not been upset by this Court and the writ application challenging the same is still pending.

In those circumstances, the WP No. 273 of 2020 stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
