We admit this appeal.

After hearing learned counsel for the parties, we are in a position to dispose of it dispensing with all formalities. Tapas Routh, the appellant and the alleged contemnor will appear/surrender before the Assistant Commissioner or Officer-in-charge of Kolkata Police attached to this court on 21st May, 2024 at or before 10:15 a.m.

With the leave of the Hon'ble Mr. Justice Ravi Krishan Kapur, the appellant shall be produced in court which shall be deemed to be his appearance in court further to a contempt rule. Thereafter, his lordship may pass whatever orders his lordship deems fit and proper in the pending proceedings.
