The Court: The instant writ petition is preferred seeking necessary direction upon the respondent authority so that the respondent no.3 may include the option of Transgender/Others/Third Gender in the application format which was published on September 18, 2020 inviting applications from the bar for the post of Assistant Registrar (Direct Recruit from the Legal Profession).

GA/1/2020 is an application seeking injunction so that the respondent no.3 may be restrained from proceeding with the process of filling up of forms for the recruitment process initiated by the notification dated September 18, 2020. It appears that the procedure of such examination have already been concluded. Perhaps cause of action of the writ petition may have ceased to exist.

None appears on behalf of the petitioner. Considering the same, the instant writ petition is dismissed for default. Connected application, if any pending, is also disposed of. Interim order, if any passed by this Court, during the pendency of this writ petition, is also vacated. (SUBHENDU SAMANTA, J.) A/s.
