The writ petitioner is aggrieved by alleged appropriation of a sum of Rs. 3,18,600/- which, according to the bank, has been deducted towards processing fee of credit facilities availed by the writ petitioners. It is submitted that there was no agreement towards payment of such processing fees.

Counsel for the bank submits that they are entitled to charge such processing charges in terms of their circulars and guidelines as well as the terms of the agreements entered into with the petitioners. The electronic mail dated 20th July, 2021 has not been received by them.

Be that as it may, without going into the question as to whether the subject matter can be entertained under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, this Court directs the Punjab National Bank to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 20th July, 2021 with a reasoned order. Let such order be communicated to the petitioners within a period of one month from date.
