This is an application under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 for extension of the mandate of the learned arbitrator which expired on February 11, 2025.

Learned arbitrator was appointed by this Court. It appears that the respondent has also not appeared before the learned arbitrator. It is submitted that the evidence is going on.

Under such circumstances and considering the advanced stage of the arbitral proceedings, the mandate of the learned arbitrator is extended by a further period of one year from the date of communication of this order, to enable the learned arbitrator to make and publish his award.
