Siddiqui, Advocate Ms. Tanoy Chakraborty, Advocate Ms. Saptak Sanyal, Advocate for the State The Court: The present writ petition has been filed inter alia seeking enforcement of the order dated 7th February 2024 passed by the Appellate Authority under Section 107 of the WBGST Act, 2017 (hereinafter referred to as "the said Act") whereby the Appellate Authority had directed to restore the registration of the petitioner by holding that the cancellation of registration certificate is no longer sustainable under the Statute.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner would submit that subsequent to the filing of the instant petition the registration of the petitioner having been restored the instant petition has become infructuous and he has instruction not to press the above petition.

Having regard to the above and noting the statements of Mr. Sharma, learned Advocate representing the petitioner and Mr. Sanyal, learned Advocate representing the respondents that the petitioner's registration under the said Act has been restored, I am of the view that the instant writ petition having become infructuous be dismissed as not pressed.
