The petitioner has made a very innocuous prayer in this writ petition for direction upon the CIT (Appeals) concerned to consider and dispose of the pending appeal in question expeditiously in view of involvement of high stake.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and submission of the parties, this writ petition being WPO 283 of 2024 is disposed of by directing the CIT (Appeals) concerned to consider and dispose of the appeal in question in accordance with law expeditiously and preferably within six months from the date of communication of this order.
