The petitioner has preferred the present contempt petition alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 18th September, 2025 passed by this Court in WPO No. 478 of 2025.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that this Court vide order dated 18th September, 2025 had directed the respondent no.4, Executive Engineer (Building) Department, Borough IV and V, KMC to decide the petitioner's representation dated 30th May, 2025.

It appears that the respondent no.4 has decided the petitioner's representation, though belatedly. An unconditional apology has been tendered on behalf of the Executive Engineer. The same is accepted. In view of the fact that the representation has since been decided vide order dated 11.05.2026, nothing further survives for adjudication in the present contempt petition.

Accordingly, the contempt petition stands disposed of in terms of the compliance affidavit filed on behalf of the respondent KMC. No further order is required.
