The Court :- This application, made in the probate proceeding, is for extension of time to file inventory of the assets. The affidavit in support of Master's Summons is by the second named executor.

Mr. Chakraborty, learned advocate appears on behalf of the executors and submits, probate in this non-contentious cause was granted on 5th July, 2018. He draws attention to order dated 1st August, 2019, which allowed for amendment in the affidavit of assets, for including therein two insurance policies subsequently discovered.

However, by reason of requirement of first named executor to extensively travel on work, inventory of the assets could not be filed within extended time. This application was taken out in March, 2020 and thereafter being moved seeking extension. He submits, the inventory is ready and can be filed before Court closes for ensuing vacation. The relevant statements have been made, particularly, in paragraphs 14 to 16 of the affidavit in support.

Court is satisfied with the explanation. Time to file inventory is extended till 21st October, 2020.
