The Court : Despite service, none appears for the respondent authorities. Affidavit of service filed in Court today be kept with the record. The limited grievance of the petitioners is that their partnership firm has been running medical stores with valid drug licence. Subsequently, there was a reconstruction of the partnership firm. The drug licence was duly renewed for a limited period.

Thereafter, the petitioner applied for renewal afresh upon expiry of the validity of the licence, but the authorities are sitting tight over such application for renewal, creating hindrance to the petitioners' partnership firm in carrying on its medical store.

In the circumstances, WPO 338 of 2020 is disposed of by directing the respondent no.4 to consider the petitioners' application for renewal of drug licence for running its medical business, under the name M/s. Nandi Medical

Stores, and to decide on the same at the earliest, latest within three weeks of communication of this order to the respondent no.4. The petitioners shall serve a website copy of this order along with a communication of their learned Advocate to the respondent no.4 to ensure due compliance of this order.

No order as to costs.
