... for the petitioner.

The Court: The petitioners had appeared for a hearing pursuant to a hearing notice dated 26th August, 2019 before the respondent nos. 2, 3 and 4. The hearing notice was issued on the petitioners pursuant to an order of a learned Judge dated 15th March, 2019 passed in WP No. 110 of 2019 by which the learned Judge directed the concerned authority to consider and decide the application of the petitioners for amendment of the registration certificate issued under the West Bengal Incentive Scheme, 2004 and did the needful within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of the order. Learned Counsel for the

petitioner submits that the order was communicated on the concerned respondents on 22nd March, 2019 pursuant to which the hearing notice was issued. Hearing was thereafter held on 30th August, 2019. Counsel complains that despite such hearing being given, the concerned respondents have prayed to pass a reasoned order in compliance with the directions of the Court dated 15th March, 2019. The respondents are not represented. The affidavit of service is kept on record. It appears that by an order dated 16th October, 2020, the petitioner was directed to serve a fresh notice on the respondent which has been done according to Counsel.

On producing the relevant documents, this Court is of the view that WPO/345/2020 can be disposed of with a direction on the respondent no.2 being the director of industries to pass a reasoned order pursuant to the hearing held on 30th August, 2019 within a period of four weeks from date. The shall be no further delay in complying with the directions of the Court. A copy of the reasoned order should be given to the petitioners within three days from the date on which such order is passed.

The writ petition is disposed of in terms of the aforesaid order. (MOUSHUMI BHATTACHARYA, J.) mg
