The Court : The writ petitioner submits that a premises being a shop room Premises No.300, B.B. Ganguly Street, Kolkata- 700012 may be forcibly demolished by the police authorities for setting up a police barrack. Such apprehension is expressed in view of two adjacent shop rooms having been demolished.

Learned Counsel for the State submits that the police or the State does not intend to demolish the writ petitioner's shop room at this stage. In those circumstances, WP No.287 of 2021 is disposed of directing the authorities to take steps strictly in accordance with law, if for any reason they require of the writ petitioner's shop room.

WPO No.287 of 2021 is disposed of.
