The petitioner is aggrieved by the auction sale conducted by the Union Bank of India in March, 2025.

It has been submitted that the auction notice was not widely published. There has been collusion in between the successful bidder and the bank. The petitioner had relied upon documents in support of its submission that the petitioner was ready and willing to pay higher price than the price offered by the intending bidder. The bank is not agreeable to accept the same.

Fact remains that the petitioner did not participate in the auction process.

Learned Counsels representing the respondents have brought to the notice of this Court an order dated 25th April, 2025 passed by the Court in WPO/269/2025 in the matter of Steel Armadura Innovaciones Pvt. Ltd. and Anr vs. Union of India and Ors wherein the self-same auction was under challenge. The Court after hearing the parties was pleased to dismiss the writ petition.

The ground of challenge in the writ petition filed by Steel Armadura Innovaciones Pvt. Ltd. (supra) and that in the instant petition appears to be more or less the same.

I have perused the order passed by the Court on 25th April, 2025 and upon hearing the submissions made by the petitioner in the instant matter, it appears that there is no reason to come to a different finding from the one arrived at by the Court in the earlier writ petition. The factually and also legally the issues raised in the instant writ petition have been answered by the Court in the matter of Steel Armadura Innovaciones Pvt. Ltd. (supra).

In view of the above, the writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed. 8.

Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record. 9.
