...for the State of West Bengal The Court : Mr. Anjan Bhattacharya, learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that his application for transfer was rejected by the West Bengal Central School Service Education. However, he submits that now the power is vested with the Commissioner of School Education. Accordingly, he prays leave to withdraw this application with liberty to make a fresh application before the Commissioner of School Education. They may be considered by the authority within the time bound period.

In light of the submission made above, this writ petition being WPO No. 363 of 2020 is disposed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to file

fresh application in accordance with law before the Commissioner of School Education.

In the event such an application is filed, the Commissioner of School Education is directed to decide the same by a reasoned decision in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from date.
