This Court finds that part of the cause of action arose within its jurisdiction. In the Minutes dated March 10, 2025, that is, on the 17th sitting, the learned Arbitrator recorded that the claimant, that is, the respondent herein, had not been appearing in the past hearings and the learned Advocate had also resigned. The respondent is pressing the counter-claim. The respondent is the petitioner before this Court, who prays for extension of the mandate for conclusion of hearing of the counter-claim.

Under such circumstances, the Court deems it fit to extend the mandate of the learned Arbitrator.

It is submitted that the hearing is nearing conclusion. Ends of justice demands that the matter should be disposed of by the Arbitrator. Thus, the mandate of the learned arbitrator is extended by a further period of 6(six) months from the date of communication of this order.

AP-COM/333/2025 is disposed of accordingly.
