The Court:- This is the second application for extension of the mandate of the learned arbitrator. The mandate of the learned arbitrator expired on January 6, 2025. The respondent does not raise any objection with regard to the maintainability of this application. Mr. Ray, learned Senior advocate submits that considerable time has passed without much progress. Records also reveal so. In any event, as the learned Arbitrator has already proceeded with the matter and the matter is at the stage of final arguments, this Court deems it fit to extend the mandate of the learned arbitrator for a further period of eight months from the date of communication of this order, within which time, the learned arbitrator shall make shall make and publishing his award. Further submissions of Mr. Ray are not entertained at this

stage and are left open to be considered later, if the award is not published within the extended time.
