1. This is an application for extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitrator. Both sides submit that mandate is required to be extended for ends of justice. The mandate of the learned Arbitrator has expired on 12th May, 2025. The learned Arbitrator was appointed by the High Court.

2. The arbitral proceeding is at the stage of argument.

3. Considering the above circumstances, this Court is of the view that justice demands that the mandate of the learned Arbitrator must be extended.

4. Accordingly, the mandate of the learned Arbitrator be extended by a further period of one year from the date of communication of this order to enable the learned Arbitrator to make and publish the award.
